Remembrance Day

Marking 100 years since Britain's involvement in the First World War the Tower of London commissioned a poppy display to commemorate all of the British soldiers who gave their lives for our freedom.  The children from Year 3 to Year 6 had the opportunity in the week before Remembrance day to visit the Tower of London and view the poppies. On Tuesday 11th November 2014 all of the children and staff at Harry Gosling held a moment of silence at 11:00 am.  Each child at Harry Gosling had the opportunity to make their own poppy and add it to our display inspired by the work at the Tower of London.
